I would like you to research and specify a Digital Audio Workstation that meets the following criteria.
Built around an iMac running Logic Pro X (assume you already have this)
Requirements -
Need to be able to record a single microphone suitable for vocal recording
Need to be able to record the output of an external hardware synthesiser
Need to be able to output MIDI data from Logic to play the hardware synthesiser
Suitable monitoring for a bedroom type studio
Ability to input MIDI information in to Logic
You will need to create a list of suitable additional equipment required to meet the above criteria
I would also like you to create a basic diagram showing how each piece of equipment is connected, including information on signal type, cabling requirements, and direction of signal flow.
You will need to make sure all items are compatible and that you have selected the correct cabling where required.

Make a list of all inputs/outputs/connection types for each item in your spec
Draw a connections diagram showing:-
How each items connects and cable type
Type Of Signal
Direction Of Travel
Then add a complete list of cables required to your equipment list.
Remember you can hand draw and scan in your connections diagram using the college photocopiers. Just choose quick scan from the menu and it will email you a copy to your student email
